People Solutions(PSI), is a recruitment agency inspired by their company motto “The Gold in every Fish” which symbolises that every person might not be aware of having certain skills, talents, and strengths, and for this they aim to be in a position to professionally help anyone with through our training services. Also, they believe that most people are doing work which they think they are content in doing, or maybe have to do due to financial reasons, survival, because it is the only thing they know how to do….whereas everybody can chose a line of work that gives them total satisfaction and fulfilment and helps them grow, develop and evolve as individuals which is what ultimately gives people internal happiness. Every fish has gold in it even if it isn’t a goldfish!

Michael Debono.
The Chief Executive Office and Managing Director of People Solutions Limited.
Michael co-founded People Solutions in early 2005 to provide services in the recruitment, temping, training and human resource consulting fields while complementing his other management consultancy business interests.
He is an experienced management consultant and accountant with a track record spanning more than sixteen years both in the fields of human resources, management consulting and finance in the private industry not only Maltese and foreign owned, but also public practice.

His experiences within the Consultancy Division of KPMG led him to embark on a career in industry where he was responsible for finance, human resources and administrative functions. He formed part of a four-person team who wrote a Business Plan for the setting up of a global mobile commerce incubator in Malta, which resulted in raising funding of US$36m from five blue-chip financial institutions and venture capitalists – a global record at the time.
For the last six years Michael has been a freelance consultant and set up his own consulting firm, D-Consulta Limited, that specialises in EU funding, business development and international business. He is a business adviser on behalf of Malta Enterprises for Start Ups and has also conducted other consultancy assignments in respect of the financial services and Business Process Outsourcing industries in Malta.
Michael believes wholeheartedly in the future of the human resources consulting field, an interest that has grown as a result of his own past experiences particularly while reading for his MBA from Henley Management College of the UK. For this reason in early 2007 he bought over his co-shareholders and co-founders to attain full management control of the company and put his ambitious vision for People Solutions into practice.
Michael is a Fellow of the Malta Institute of Accountants, and a Member of the Institute of Management of Malta.
Ms. Davinia Lynn Pirotta – B.Com (Hons). Management – Business Development Executive
Ms Davinia Pirotta has been working within People Solutions Limited since July 2008. Having obtained a second class honours degree in Management at the University of Malta, she is currently reading for a Masters in Business Administration at the same university. Having also been actively involved in a student organization, AIESEC, she has submitted a dissertation entitled ‘Student Organizations – Their Contribution to A Student’s Future’, intending to uncover the added value and development experienced alongside the theory learnt whilst reading for various degrees, as well as the perspective of various employers recruiting such students. Her MBA dissertation is set to explore the topic of flexicurity from a local perspective.
Davinia is currently the Business Development Executive of People Solutions Limited, where she is responsible of communications with foreign partners, whilst acting also as the Personal Assistant to the CEO. Her work in the company consists mainly of co-ordination of job fairs and events, marketing activities, as well as co-ordinating the overall running of the daily operations within the company.
Davinia has started her professional career here at People Solutions. Having said that, she gained a great deal of hands-on management experience through AIESEC, the world’s largest student organization, present in over 100 countries, that in addition to providing over 6500 leadership positions and delivering over 350 conference to its membership of over 28,000 student, runs an exchange program that enables over 4400 students and recent graduates the opportunity to live and work in another country. Davinia has been involved in a number of teams during her time in AIESEC, serving on the member’s committee for 2 years, as Vice President for Member Development and Human Resource, and President, respectively. She has also had the opportunity to attend and organize conferences locally in Malta, as well as attend and organize conferences internationally in countries like, Spain, India, Poland, Switzerland and Egypt. Davinia is now currently on the National Support Team, in charge of Talent Management, which serves as an advisory group to the current Members’ Committee.
