Data Protection and Privacy Policy

The following terms shall have the meaning assigned to them hereunder in this data protection policy:

Customers: includes any employer, person, company, organisation or firm which purchases Services from us;
Personal data/information: personal data which identifies you;
Policy: this Data Protection and Privacy Policy;
Law: the Data Protection Act, 2001 and the applicable regulations enacted under this Act.

This Policy is meant to inform you about the way in which we process your personal data to provide you with our services which you request from us whilst using our website. In this way you may feel confident about the privacy and security of your personal information.

We need your personal data to provide you with our services. When you go through the two-step registration process, your personal data is viewed and accessed by our administrator and other staff who decide whether they should accept you as a member of our candidate database. You become a member of our candidate database as soon as we decide to enable your account status and we inform you accordingly. Your personal information can only be accessed by yourself because it is protected by your username and password. Your username and password will be known and is used by our administrator. Anonymous personal data, which you provide us with, may be made available for searching, viewing over the internet, downloading and otherwise processed by our Customers. In this instance, we identify you to our customers with an ID number which is an automatically generated number. However no personal data which may identify you is passed on to our Customers before we inform you about the identity of our Customer and we obtain your specific consent accordingly.

We do not provide any third parties, unless with your specific consent, with any of your personal data unless obliged to do so by law or by court order in which case we will only do so under proper authority. We may also need to provide access to your personal information to third party service providers such as our information technology staff and hard ware providers who need to have such access to your personal information in order to ensure that we give you the best service. We ensure that these providers are bound with us to strictly comply with all applicable provisions of law and with this Policy.

We only collect data that we believe to be relevant for the staff recruitment process which we do on behalf of our Customers or which our Customers conduct directly by accessing our candidate database as previously explained in this Policy and generally data which is required in the performance of the services you request from us whilst using our website.

You may decide to subscribe to our electronic newsletter which may contain marketing material that we think may be of interest to you. By selecting ‘yes’, you are indicating your agreement with this use of your personal information collected. You have the option to opt-out every time that a newsletter is sent to you by selecting ‘unsubscribe’ to remove your name from all newsletter mailing lists. We will not send you unsolicited messages or junk mail.

Market research using your personal information may only be carried out for internal purposes so that we may understand our members’ and Customers’ needs in order to develop and/or improve the services that we offer through our website.

Some of our Customers may be located in countries outside the European Economic Area.

We do our best to invest in the latest security technologies available and maintain strict information security policies that are designed to prevent unauthorised access to your information by anyone.

All our staff and all authorised third parties (such as the IT support staff) with permitted access to your personal information are specifically required to comply with our Information Security Policies and to maintain members’ confidentiality.

All reasonable efforts are made to keep your information up-to-date. We rely on you to ensure that your details are kept up to date. In particular you hereby agree to update your profile details at least every six months and your contact details whenever there are any changes. You can modify your personal details and other information and delete your account at any time.

Unless otherwise stated in specific terms and conditions of use of any part of our website, we may change the content or services found on our website at any time without notice, and consequently our Policy may change at any time in the future.
